Curt Ciarleglio, VMD

Veterinarian and Owner

A proud native of the Woodbury area, Dr. Ciarleglio spent many warm summer days visiting his grandparents house and swimming in the Nonnewaug River. From an early age, he felt a deep calling to work with and care for animals, igniting his passion for veterinary medicine. Combined with a strong desire to live in and raise his family in Woodbury, the creation of Pine Grove Veterinary Hospital is a culmination of a long time dream!
Dr. Ciarleglio earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the UConn School of Agriculture in 2008. He furthered his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with a Veterinary Medical Doctor degree in 2012. Upon returning to Connecticut, he gained invaluable experience working in emergency medicine before transitioning to a general practice in Prospect CT. As medical director there, he stepped up as a leader and became the “go to” for questions and complicated cases.

As the proud owner of Pine Grove Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Ciarleglio is dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care to the community he loves. His professional interests include surgery, urgent care, and diagnostic imaging, ensuring that every pet receives the highest standard of care.
Outside of work, Dr. Ciarleglio cherishes time with his wife, three children, and a lively assortment of animals (ask his youngest how many pets they have!). He enjoys hiking, experimenting with new food recipes, and exploring the vibrant New England brewery scene. He looks forward to adding to his experience and knowledge as the owner of Pine Grove Veterinary Hospital and he looks forward to getting to know you and your pets.

Lauryn Ciarleglio

Practice Manager and Owner

With a passion for helping others and a love for animals, Lauryn is proud to help lead the team at Pine Grove Veterinary Hospital and connect with each and every client and their beloved pets. Outside of the hospital, Lauryn loves spending quality time with her husband and three children, and finding fun new restaurants and breweries with Dr. Ciarleglio. With her family, she loves exploring the outdoors, hiking, finding new adventures to take on, and spending time together doing just about anything fun! Depending on the season, you can also find her outside running, biking, and skiing. Lauryn is looking forward to treating each and every client as if they are her own, and providing the best care and communication to each client.
